What will you do?
As an Energy Engineer, you are the expert in optimising our diverse energy installations – including incineration plants, gas boilers, gas turbines, steam turbines, and biogas engines. You are responsible for increasing the efficiency of these systems and driving continuous improvement. You play a central role within the VPK Group and collaborate closely with local teams to achieve this.
- You optimise installations by identifying and implementing efficiency improvements.
- You analyse measurements and collect data to gain insight into system performance and increase output.
- You support local teams in making decisions about installations based on energy market conditions.
- You implement best practices across various European sites.
- You work closely with local teams to solve technical challenges related to energy installations.
- You investigate issues and collaborate with teams to find root causes and define new procedures.
- You contribute to the development of new methods for energy generation.
Who are you?
- You hold an engineering degree and have 10 years of experience with energy installations (gas, combustion, electricity).
- You have strong analytical skills and know how to improve system efficiency.
- You have an international mindset and are willing to travel regularly to various European sites.
- You are fluent in English, and French.
- You take a practical approach and enjoy the challenge of improving processes.
- You take ownership and work independently.
- You are skilled in motivating people and communicating clearly, even in complex situations.
- You are comfortable working across different cultures and work styles, both locally and internationally.
