VPK Group further expands its presence in Italy with IEMME

VPK Group announces its joint venture with IEMME srl, an Italian corrugated cardboard company based in Gambolò, near Milan. With this second step in Italy, VPK Group further diversifies its product portfolio and strengthens its local presence.

IEMME Packaging IEMME is a leading producer of corrugated board packaging and sheets in Italy. The company relies on solid foundations resulting from a historical collaboration between two families. Just like VPK, IEMME srl is built on strong family-oriented values with focus on the future and continuous innovation.

In 2023, IEMME’s modern plant produced 70 million m² of cardboard, employed 100 people and generated a revenue of 40 million euros that same year. The company's vision emphasises continuous innovation and product diversification, in line with market trends and the evolution of automated canning production systems.

Going forward, VPK will join the company’s capital and join forces to further lead and develop the organisation, respecting local values, entrepreneurial spirit and sound management practices.

The partnership with IEMME enables VPK to offer a diverse range of sustainable paper-based packaging solutions in Italy, including printed Fanfold, digitally printed packaging, American and die-cut boxes and sheet cardboard, tailored to the needs of customers in different sectors. 

This collaboration underlines VPK Group's commitment to innovation, sustainability and customer-oriented solutions and strengthens its footprint in the Italian market.
