The Product Carbon Footprint Calculator is based on the Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT) methodology and is fully in line with the GHG Protocol and international ISO standards. By following the cradle-to-gate principle, the tool calculates the carbon intensity (PCF) of specific products in grams of CO2e per unit. This provides consistent and reliable data for environmental analyses.
Internal teams within VPK carefully process the data and share the results via clear product sheets or comprehensive portfolio analyses, tailored to the needs of individual customers.
